Homebound Services

The following services are offered for Eugene residents who have difficulty visiting the Library independently. With these services patrons receive extended loan periods, accrue no fines, and are responsible for replacement costs if materials borrowed for them are not returned.

Personal Representative Card

A patron can authorize others to help them select, pick up, and return library materials on their behalf. To register, the patron need not be present; the representative can bring a completed application, the patron’s ID and proof of residency, and the representative’s own ID. Call 541-682-5450 for information.

Facilitated Transport Card

For residents of facilities who depend on the facility’s transport services. Call 541-682-5450 for information.

Home Delivery

Patrons who cannot visit the Library in person and are unable to use one of the types of cards above may be eligible to have materials delivered by a volunteer from the Assistance League® of Eugene. Call 541-682-8319 for information.
