Sex Offender Notices

Eugene Police occasionally gets notices from Oregon State Police and others regarding sex offenders. Some EPD shares with the community due to the history of the person. Here’s info on the person we received notification from Lane County Parole and Probation.

Predatory Sex Offender Notification from State of Oregon

The State of Oregon provides notification to Eugene Police and other law enforcement agencies when a sex offender listed as ‘predatory’ has reported living in the community. Community members interested in knowing about these offenders can access the State of Oregon’s Sex Offender Inquiry System. 

Predatory Sex Offenders

Eugene Police received a bulletin for the following persons:
  • Jeramy Adam Ball, age 38
  • James Russell Dvorak, age 51
  • Daniel Anthony Defilippis, age 55
  • Barry Dale Grove, age 48
  • Donald James Todd, age 66
  • Clyde Leroy Baker, age 61
  • Daniel Anthony Defilippis, age 55
  • Tracy O’Neil Jackson, age 53
  • Henry Jacob Parker (Henry Jacob Parker-Fraser), age 55
  • Billy Joe Rush, age 64
  • Timothy Lee Moore, age 63

FEDERAL BUREAU OF PRISONS SEXUALLY DANGEROUS PERSON
George Albert Hood, age 63 (born December 1951), has moved into the local area. He is not currently under suspicion for a crime. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Hood was convicted of choking and raping a woman and threatened to kill the victim, he also previously “engaged or attempted to engage in sexually violent conduct or child molestation.” He was “convicted of Assault in the Second Degree for raping another woman after offering her a ride, driving her to another location and raping her, then raping her a second time at his residence.” The Federal Bureau of Prisons has certified him as a sexually dangerous person. 
 Hood is 6’00” tall, weighs 195 pounds and has dark hair

Mark Anthony Soza, age 60, has moved into the local area. He is not currently under suspicion for a crime. In 2012, Soza, a former teacher from Spartanburg, SC, was sentenced to 40 months in prison by the US Attorney’s Office in South Carolina on child pornography charges. William Joseph Green, age 65, has moved into the local area. He is not currently under suspicion for a crime. In 2001, Green was convicted of five counts of Burglary in the First Degree, and Sex Abuse in the First Degree. He served 13 years in the Oregon State Penitentiary. Green was released on July 7, 2014. His conditions of supervision include: 
  • no contact with minor males or minor females (under 18), 
  • can’t possess any visual recording device (camera, video recorder), 
  • shall not frequent areas where children are likely to congregate. 
  • must successfully complete sex offender treatment. Has curfew and geographic restrictions

Green is 6’4”, 175 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Mark Lee Belden, age 52, has moved into the local area. He is not currently under suspicion for a crime. In 1984, Belden was convicted on two counts of Rape by Force, two counts of Robbery, and Oral Copulation, in California. In 1994, he was convicted in Lane County Circuit Court of Burglary and Attempted Rape in the First Degree.
