About the camp:
Each year, Eugene Springfield Fire hosts a Young Women’s Fire Camp. The camp usually occurs around the end of June or first part of July each summer. This unique camp is free to participants and provides an exciting growth experience for young women. Our camp instills self-confidence, teamwork, and leadership by utilizing fire service activities as a catalyst for this growth. Camp participants apply for entry by submitting an essay along with an application and other paperwork. We have a set number of participants we can accommodate so the application, essay, and supplemental paperwork is an important part of the process. If you are interested in joining our next Young Women's Fire Camp, please call us at 541-682-7155. We will be happy to answer any of your questions and let you know the process for applying for the next camp. We look forward to seeing you!
