Maker Hub: Media Lab

The Media Lab offers state-of-the-art audio, video, and design equipment and software for independent learning and individual projects.
 
For example, you can record and edit music with an audio interface, microphones, and more; create graphics with professional software; convert old slides, negatives, and VHS tapes to digital files on CDs or DVDs; and create animations, websites, and games.

  • Media Lab sessions last up to two hours and may be reserved up to one week in advance: call 541-682-5450 (press 2).
  • When the Media Lab has not been reserved, drop-ins are welcome. To sign in, visit the Downtown Library’s 3rd floor desk.
  • The Media Lab opens when the Library opens each day and closes 30 minutes before the Library closes.
  • Admission is free; USB drives and other supplies are charged at cost.
