About Adaptive Archery

Adaptive Recreation Services (ARS) was founded in 1969. Since then, the program has evolved into the year-round, nationally recognized program offering more than 2500 activities annually. The mission of Adaptive Recreation Services is to provide diverse recreation programs and services that enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities.

ARS provides a wide range of adaptive recreation programs for people with cognitive, emotional, mental, social and physical disabilities that expand their access to opportunities that promote physical fitness, health and wellness, increased self-esteem, and greater functional independence. ARS has thrived and grown from providing a few recreational outings and social programs that first year to becoming one of the premiere adaptive recreation programs in the world.
