The City of Eugene manages public on street parking in the areas around the University of Oregon (UO) campus. For more information about parking on campus please visit the UO Office of Parking and Transportation. In order to help maintain neighborhood livability, many of the residential areas around the University require residential parking permits for on-street parking.

City Parking Meters
Operate from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All meters are free after 6:00 p.m. and on Sundays.

Arena Event Parking

The City of Eugene, Fairmont Neighbors Association and the University of Oregon (UO) have worked together to create an Event Parking District. The district includes the area outlined on the map in green. Every street in the Event Parking District will limit parking up to two hours, every day, from 7:00 a.m - 11:00 p.m. Parking fines will double during events.

Matthew Knight Arena Event Shuttle

During events at the Matthew Knight Arena (including Men’s Basketball games) shuttle service is often provided from downtown to the arena. Parking is free after 5:00 PM at the Overpark Garage (10th and Oak) and provides a safe, dry parking area right next to the shuttle stop at 10th and Willamette.
