Four components of ACT:C3

  1. Community Awareness & Training in Compression CPR.
  2. Chest Compressions Oriented 911 Dispatch Instructions.
  3. CardioCerebral Resuscitation Protocols for EMS Responders.
  4. Hospital(s) Registry Participation and Data Analysis.

Why is it needed?

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the number one killer of all adults; nearly 600,000 americans die annually from SCA, which is greater than all the cancers combined. Typically, only 5 - 10 percent of SCA victims survive. Communities that have instituted the components ACT: C3 focuses on have improved their cardiac survival rate to above 50 percent, and tripled their prevention of brain injuries.

How can I get involved?

  1. Request Hands-Only CPR training for your group.
  2. Donateto program to provide CPR Anytime Kits for school children.
  3. Perform the 3 Cs of Compression CPR if you witness an adult collapse.
