The City's current Parks SDC methodology was adopted in 2008. Since that time, the City has adopted Picture. Plan. Play. A Vision and Implementation Plan for Eugene's Parks and Recreation System. The plan outlines a strategic System Plan to be implemented over the next 30 years.
Park and Recreation System Plan
The adoption of the Parks and Recreation System Plan established a new project list and prioritized
project implementation. That project list was used as the basis for the SDC project list included in the plan. The
subset of projects and project costs included in the plan are those needed to increase the capacity of the parks
and recreation system to serve the next twenty-years of population growth.
Modifications to SDC General Methodologies and Appendices
The City is proposing to update its Parks SDC Methodology and General Methodology to help meet the goals of the Plan.
