Community Events mission is to bring fun, accessible, and relevant arts and culture programs to all residents in our community.

Downtown revitalization includes a welcome influx of businesses to the downtown core. The community Events Program partners with Downtown Merchants to bring exciting events such as the NOW! Pop-Up Performing Arts series and All Hallows’ Eugene.

The City of Eugene established its commitment to the visual arts through the Percent for Art Ordinance of 1981, which states that it is an appropriate function of government to foster arts and the development of artists.
This program commissions works of art in public places, in addition to furthering the policy of fostering art and developing artists in Eugene. More information
Hult Center for the Performing Arts is a cornerstone in downtown Eugene’s emerging and vibrant arts and culture district. The Hult Center is within easy walking distance of hotels, shopping, art galleries and restaurants. Home to six Resident Companies, a Broadway presenter, local dance groups, and touring shows featuring comedy, rock, blues and family events that fill the Silva Concert Hall and Soreng Theater throughout the year.
Cuthbert Amphitheater, the signature copper roof and grassy bowl setting, make the Cuthbert a favorite venue for summer concerts! Hip-hop, rock and blues, classical, touring legends and country music fill the 5,000 seat amphitheater all summer long. Food and beverage vendors tempt the palate with tasty eats, and regional microbrews, wines and beverages quench the thirst. View schedule
