City of Eugene Survey Location Books

Overview & Background

The City of Eugene Code Chapter 7.087 (1) Upon council request, the city engineer shall ascertain all lines and corners of lots, blocks and streets and keep a record of them.

The City of Eugene has kept a history of the centerline location of the streets and alleys of Eugene in their City of Eugene Survey Location Books. Over time the centerline locations have been located, monumented and referenced in the field and noted in these books.

Since 2010 all new references to the Cities street centerlines have been filed at the Lane County Surveyors Office as surveys. This is in keeping with Oregon Revised Statue 209.155. However, always check the cities Survey Location Books in the event information has been updated.
