- MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Syrett, seconded by Councilor Keating, moved to direct the Police Auditor to return to Council for a follow-up work session to discuss her recommendations for potential improvements to the current civilian oversight system including, if appropriate, potential code amendments. - INFORMATION ONLY: Police Auditor Leia Pitcher and the leadership of the Civilian Review Board appeared before the City Council to discuss the 2022 Annual Report of the Independent Police Auditor’s Office and the 2022 Annual Report of the Civilian Review Board.

- Police Auditor Leia Pitcher presented recommendations for potential improvements to the current civilian oversight system.
MOTION AND MOVE: Councilor Groves, seconded by Councilor Keating, moved to direct the Police Auditor to work with the City Manager, Police Chief, and Eugene Police Employee Association, to develop mutually acceptable resolutions on the seven issues discussed in the AIS and amend the Civilian Oversight Protocols as appropriate. PASSED 7:0.
