Police Commission

**Due to Governor Kate Brown's Stay Home, Save Lives Executive Order to combat the spread of Covid-19, meetings will be held remotely using a virtual meeting technology until further notice. The Police Commission is a twelve member citizen body that acts in an advisory capacity to city council, the chief of police and the city manager on police policy and resource issues.


The Commission meets the second Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. with the exception of August when they are on vacation.  All meetings are noticed in the calendar on this page. Subscribe to the calendar to receive notices of meetings, and links to meeting material.

Per ordinance, the police commission does not undertake the review of allegations and inquiries related to the actions of individual police officers.
