Choice of Health Plans
The City of Eugene offers a choice of health insurance coverage for regular employees and their eligible dependents:
The City Health Plan / PPO (Preferred Provider Organization)
The City health plan offers comprehensive coverage, paying 80% of most eligible hospital and doctor's services after an annual deductible is met.
The Managed Care Plan / POS (Point of Service)
This plan requires co-payments for certain services instead of a deductible. The plan also requires that services be performed or authorized by the participant's primary care provider (PCP).
The Hybrid Plan / POS (Point of Service)
This arrangement is a combination of both the City health plan and the City managed care plan. Some services require a co-payment, and others require a deductible and co-insurance amount. The plan requires that you select a primary care provider. This plan is offered to non-represented and IATSE employees only.
