Minimum Qualifications and Critical Skills
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No Class A misdemeanor convictions within 24 months of applying
- No felony convictions
- No tobacco use
- Oregon Paramedic certification
- Two years of experience in fire fighting, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or related fields or Associate’s Degree in Fire Sciences or EMS
- Valid Oregon driver’s license
