Through the federal Commun
ity Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the City of Eugene offers assistance for low-income property owners to correct certain conditions that create an immediate threat to the health and safety of the occupants or could cause rapid deterioration of the structure.
Assistance for low-income homeowners of stick frame homes includes 0%, deferred loans, up to $10,000. This assistance is also available for owners of rental housing occupied by low-income tenants with disabilities for accessibility improvements. For low-income mobile homeowners, grants are available in the amount of up to $10,000. Grants do not need to be repaid.

Completed applications, which must include required income verification documents, may be emailed to Karina Fon, KFon@eugene-or.gov, or dropped off or mailed to the attention of Karina Fon, City of Eugene, Planning and Development Dept., 99 W. 10th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97401. The lobby is open Monday through Friday, 12 pm to 4 pm.
