Wednesday, November 20, 2019

The author talks about his latest book "The Preserve," a postwar thriller.

Hear novelist Steve Anderson at a reading and talk about his new book. “The Preserve” is a fast-paced historical thriller based on true events in postwar Hawaii.

The central figure is a troubled WWII hero turned deserter who seeks a cure for his severe combat trauma at a mysterious facility called The Preserve. His hopes of regaining sanity are shattered when he discovers the camp’s true purpose: to rebuild him as an assassin in a widespread conspiracy.

Steve Anderson is also the author of “The Other Oregon,” which he describes as “Cascadia noir,” as well as several novels set during World War II, including “The Losing Role,” “Liberated,” “Lost Kin,” and “Under False Flags.”
