Meet and hear a talk by award-winning novelist A.S. King. She'll talk about writing and her most recent novel"Switch," as well as answer questions.
A.S. King has been called “one of the best Y.A. writers working today” by the New York Times Book Review. The author of many popular and critically acclaimed novels, she’s won numerous awards including the prestigious Printz medal, the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and most recently the 2022 Margaret A. Edwards Award for lifetime achievement in writing for young people. Her upcoming book is titled "Attack of the Black Rectangles."
When not writing, A.S. King says, she's "traveling the world talking to students, volunteering in her community, or doing something outside. Her favorite food is corn on the cob. Her cat’s name is Ziggy Jack. She lived a long time on a farm in Ireland, and now lives back in Pennsylvania with her very cool kid.”
