A talk by the bestselling author of "Mexican Gothic," "Velvet Was the Night," and "The Daughter of Doctor Moreau."

Join us for a talk and Q&A with Silvia Moreno-Garcia, the New York Times bestselling author of "The Daughter of Doctor Moreau," "Velvet Was the Night," "Mexican Gothic," "Gods of Jade and Shadow," and other novels.  Afterwards, she'll sign a book if you bring your copy.

Silvia Moreno-Garcia has won the Locus, British Fantasy, and Pacific Northwest Book awards as a novelist, and the World Fantasy Award as an editor. She describes herself as "Mexican by birth, Canadian by inclination." Moreno-Garcia is also the publisher of Innsmouth Free Press.  She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
