All City of Eugene administrative offices and the Hult Center Ticket Office will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. The Library, all branches and book returns are closed on Christmas & New Year’s Day. The Downtown Library will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. The Hult Center ticket office will be open on Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 31. Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7.
Sheldon Pool and Fitness Center will be closed for annual maintenance Dec. 23-Jan 4; Echo Hollow Pool & Fitness Center will be closed on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Echo Hollow will operate on a holiday schedule Dec. 23 – Jan. 5 (call 541-682-5525 for details) and will close at 3:30 p.m. Christmas Eve, Dec. 24; and at 5 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31;
All Community Centers are closed Christmas Day and News Year’s Day.
Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. The main police station on Country Club Road is open 365 day a year. The Downtown Public Safety Station will be closed Dec. 24 and 25, as well as Jan. 1. The West University Public Safety Station will be closed the entire week of Christmas, Dec 23- Dec 27, and again on January 1. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption on both holidays. Parking is free on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 for City-managed on-street meters, garages and surface lots, except for event parking.

All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on the Thursday following each holiday, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Martin Luther King’s birthday, Jan. 20.
