The City of Eugene Winter/Spring Recreation Guide is now available online. The 88-page Guide lists hundreds of fun, healthful, and entertaining things to do for all ages from January through May – including spring break camps! The cover of the new Guide features a father and daughter playing disc golf – one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S. – on the new course in Alton Baker Park.
Recreational opportunities listing in the Guide include outdoor activities, family events, classes in Archery to Zumba, as well as health and wellness programs, life-long learning, swimming, regional trips, adult sports leagues, and social activities for every age and ability. The virtual guide makes it easy to register for classes, too, with links directly to the registration page for each activity.
If you’re on the free subscription list, expect to receive the paper guide by mail next week. You can sign up to receive the guide by mail (beginning with the Summer edition) at http:www//eugene-or.gov/recguide. Paper guides will also be available for pick-up next week at any City community center, swimming pool, or library, and at many other public offices around town.
