[ARCHIVED] “Commit to Fit” Contest Offers Fitness Incentives

Women in water fitness class

Kick start your New Year’s exercise routine by entering the “Commit to Fit” contest at city pools Jan. 6-31. Just sign up at Sheldon or Echo Hollow Pool and Fitness Center; there's no charge for entering. Each time you attend a water fitness class or work out in the fitness center for at least 30 minutes, you’ll receive one punch on your Commit to Fit punch card.

When you have earned five punches, the card can be submitted in a drawing. The more times you work out, the more times you can enter. At the end of the month, an additional drawing will be held for several prizes including a monthly swim pass (a $60 value), a healthy eating cook book, pedometers, water bottles and other fitness-related prizes.

For information, call Sheldon Pool: 541-682-5314; or Echo Hollow Pool: 541-682-5525.
