[ARCHIVED] Show goes on at the Hult; Downtown & Sheldon Libraries open

The Downtown Eugene Public Library and the Sheldon Branch library plan to be open regular hours and Hult performances will be held as scheduled today. The Bethel Branch Library and Sheldon Pool are closed.

Regular Saturday hours for the Downtown Public Library are 10 am – 6 pm; the Sheldon Branch Saturday hours are 10 am- 4 pm. Many library services are available onling: http://www.eugene-or.gov/library.

The Show will go on at the Hult Center. Performances of Boz Scaggs and Ballet Fantastique, both at 7:30 tonight, are currently expected to be held as scheduled. Call 541-682-5000 for updates.

The Bethel Branch library and Sheldon Pool are closed today. Echo Hollow Pool is ordinarilyy closed on Saturdays.

In the meantime, the City of Eugene advises everyone to exercise caution when moving about outdoors. Roads and sidewalks are slick.

During ice-snow emergencies, on-street parking on priority transportation routes is banned. The ban allows emergency vehicles and snow-removal equipment to travel safely on roadways to respond to emergency situations. To view a map of priority routes, go to http://www.eugene-or.gov/snow.
