[ARCHIVED] Storm Update: Conditions Still Hazardous

Please only call 9-1-1 if you have an immediate emergency or hazard. If you need public works assistance, call 541-682-4800. To report a power outage, call EWEB at 541-484-2300.

Public Works is responding to more than 300 reports of down trees and limbs in the right of way. Stay away from fallen trees, particularly if any type of wiring is visible. Plowing continues on priority 3 routes.

The morning commute looks to be messy. The most difficult part may be the portion of the journey on neighborhood streets, which may still have broken limbs and deep slush on them.

Airport travelers are advised to check up-to-date flight information at http://www.flyEUG.com.

The Downtown Eugene Public Library is open regular hours on Sunday. All community centers and pools are closed on Sunday. Many library services are available online: http://www.eugene-or.gov/library.

During ice-snow emergencies, on-street parking on priority transportation routes is banned. The ban allows emergency vehicles and snow-removal equipment to travel safely on roadways to respond to emergency situations. To view a map of priority routes, go to http://www.eugene-or.gov/snow.
