[ARCHIVED] Winter Storm Update

Public Works is making headway in cleaning up tree debris on city streets, but much work remains. Crews are working in 17 sectors around the city, and assessment teams are reporting and prioritizing hazards, including in parks and off-street bike paths.

To report a hazard, call Public Works at 541-682-4800. To report down power lines, call EWEB at 541-484-2300.

The ice-snow emergency parking ban was lifted Monday. However, sidewalks and onstreet bike lanes may still have slush accumulations.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service has issued an wind advisory that includes the Eugene area starting at 10 p.m. through 6 a.m. Wednesday. Use caution around trees damaged by Saturday’s ice storm. Say well clear of trees that may leaning or that have loose hanging limbs.
