[ARCHIVED] Lucky Day!

Lucky Day books are extra copies of new and popular titles that are available to borrow immediately. They have bright blue Lucky Day labels and are displayed together for easy browsing every time you visit.

At the Downtown Library, find the Lucky Day books for adults and teens next to the Check Out desk, and Lucky Day books for kids in the Children's Center. There are Lucky Day shelves for all ages at the Bethel and Sheldon branches, too. Each cardholder can borrow up to four Lucky Day books at a time. In order to keep lots of Lucky Day titles available, no renewals are allowed.

Explains Library Director Connie Bennett, "The Lucky Day service is a great way to deliver the books our readers want most, as quickly as possible."

Funding and support for Lucky Day books are provided by the Eugene Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Eugene Public Library.
