[ARCHIVED] City of Eugene Budget Update

On March 5, the City of Eugene Budget Committee voted to support City Manager Jon Ruiz' plan to keep the Bethel Branch of Eugene Public Library open; and to keep the Sheldon Branch open for the coming year while exploring options for future funding. This plan will also reduce the Downtown Library's Sunday hours as a cost-saving measure. In April, Ruiz will present his final budget proposal, and the committee will resume meeting. Look for detailed information and ongoing updates at www.eugene-or.gov/budget.
