Community members are invited to apply for appointment to the Eugene Public Library Advisory Board, which will have three openings starting July 1. Interested community members can find more information and apply online at the City of Eugene website. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 28.
The Eugene Public Library Advisory Board meets every other month to offer Library staff a public's-eye perspective on policies, services, and other issues.
The upcoming seats include one “at-large” position, open to any City resident for a term of three years. One is for a Sheldon Branch Library user, also for a three-year term. The third position is for a youth representative, age 25 or younger, for a one-year term. All Board members must be City of Eugene residents and must have, or register for, a library card.
For more information, contact Eugene Public Library Director Connie Bennett at 541-682-5363.
