[ARCHIVED] City of Eugene Budget Update

On March 5, the City of Eugene Budget Committee voted to support City Manager Jon Ruiz' plan to keep the Bethel Branch of Eugene Public Library open; and to keep the Sheldon Branch open for the coming year while exploring options for future funding. This plan will also reduce the Downtown Library's Sunday hours as a cost-saving measure.

On Tuesday, April 29, 5:30 p.m., at the Downtown Eugene Public Library, the City Manager will present this plan as part of his complete Fiscal Year 2015 Proposed Budget.

On Thursday, May 1, 5:30 p.m., at the Downtown Eugene Public Library, the Budget Committee will meet to hear public comments, deliberate, and decide on their recommendation to the City Council.
