The South Willamette Street Improvement Plan explores options for the street to become a vibrant urban corridor, accessible for people walking, biking, riding the bus, and driving between 24th and 32nd avenues.
The Eugene City Council will review the plan, an economic study, and details of a potential test restriping at their noon work session on Wednesday, April 16. A public hearing about the street design alternatives is schedule for May 19.
More information about the plan is available at the project website, www.eugene-or.gov/SWillametteStreet, or by contacting project manager, Chris Henry, at chris.c.henry@ci.eugene.or.us or 541-682-8472.
