Death Investigation
Case 14-6477
Eugene Police are investigating a death in the 1100 Block of Woodside. At around 6:43 this morning, 9-1-1 was called regarding a fire and possible shots fired. Fire and police responded. A person was found deceased. A Community Emergency Notification System message was sent to warn surrounding neighborhood residents to stay in their homes and report anything suspicious.
The fire has been suppressed and multiple police resources are on scene including Arson Investigators, Violent Crimes Unit, and Forensic Evidence Unit.
