[ARCHIVED] Police Looking for Information

Over the past few weeks, there have been three separate incidents reported in West Eugene where bicyclists and pedestrians have been the target of reckless endangering by an unknown suspect who has shot at victims with four inch darts.

In each incident, the shooting has happened from the roadway and the description of a possible suspect vehicle has been limited. In two of the incidents that occurred on Roosevelt, the suspect vehicle is described as a dark SUV that possibly had tinted windows. In the incident that occurred on Chambers and 13th Avenue, the vehicle was described as a dark maroon Jeep Cherokee-type vehicle with back window covered with stickers, including a large round black sticker, and driving in a southbound direction.

If you happened to witness the event or if you have information about the incident, you are asked to call Sgt. Kris Martes at 541.682.5182.
