[ARCHIVED] Notice of Noise Varience Request and Opportunity to Submit Comments

Eugene’s noise standards allow unrestricted construction activities from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. American Campus Communities, the construction site’s owner, requests a noise variance to allow limited construction activity at the construction site (2055 Garden Avenue) from 5:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. They will be doing concrete pours for no more than 20 days, when necessary due to weather, between the date of the noise variance approval through Thursday, July 31st, 2014.

Per Eugene Code Section 6.755(2) this notice is being posted near properties adjacent to the construction project to notify the public of the request. A public notice was mailed to owners and occupants within 300 feet of the site on May 8th, 2014.

Testimony must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014. A decision will be made by Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
