[ARCHIVED] City administrative offices will be closed May 26 for Memorial Day

All City of Eugene administrative offices, community centers, the Hult Center Ticket Office and all City libraries, including the book returns, will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 26. Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7.

Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual. The main police station on Country Club Road is open 365 day a year. The Downtown Public Safety Substation and the West University Public Safety Station will be closed. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption. Parking is free on May 26 for City-managed on-street meters, garages and surface lots, except for event parking.

The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual on the holiday. For flight schedule information, go to www.flyEUG.com or call: 541-682-5544.

All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, May 27. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Independence Day, July 4.
