[ARCHIVED] Mayor, Councilors to Be Honored at Bee-Fest

At the family-friendly Bee-Fest celebration on Saturday, May 31, Beyond Toxics will honor Mayor Kitty Piercy and City Councilors Claire Syrett and Mike Clark for their leadership in making Eugene “America’s bee-friendliest city!”

The event is at Washington Park Community Center from 1 - 3 p.m. Beyond Toxics and event sponsor, Smith Family Bookstore, invite the public to enjoy live music by the Zac Wolfe Band, “Scoops for a Cause” dessert provided by Coconut Bliss, face-painting, professional balloon twister, Angela, with Young at Heart Balloon Art, open mic poetry readings and much more.
