[ARCHIVED] Beltline/I-105 Enforcement - Following too closely

Officers with the Eugene Police Department’s Traffic Enforcement Unit will be focusing on drivers that follow to closely to other drivers on Beltline and I-105. Police officers stop drivers for violations every day, but certain violations continue to be a frequent occurrence and major cause of vehicle collisions in Eugene. The intent of the operation is to educate the public and to reduce the number of crashes and conflicts between vehicles. Multiple officers will enforce all traffic laws with attention primarily on following to closely.
