[ARCHIVED] City Offices Close for Veteran's Day

All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed in honor of the Veteran’s Day Holiday.

City of Eugene community centers, libraries, including the book returns, and the Hult Center ticket office will also be closed. Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7. Echo Hollow and Sheldon Pools and Fitness Centers will be closed.

Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on the 11th. The main police station on Country Club Rd. is open 365 day a year, although the West University and Downtown Public Safety Stations will be closed for the holiday. Around-the-clock health and safety services such as regional wastewater treatment will continue without interruption. Parking is free for both meters and city-owned garages on November 11, except for event parking.

The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual on Independence Day. For flight schedule information, go to flyEUG.com or call: 541-682-5544.

All city offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Wednesday, November 12. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Thanksgiving Day, November 27.
