[ARCHIVED] Robbery Sunday at Big Town Hero on Crescent Avenue

Eugene Police responded to the report of an armed robbery at Big Town Hero, 2866 Crescent Avenue in Eugene at 4:39 p.m. Sunday. The suspect was described as a white male approximately 25-35 years, 5’8” – 6”, & 190-210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark knit cap over a baseball cap, a scarf wrapped around the bottom of his face, a blue hoodie with a logo and white lettering down the right arm, light blue jeans and white sneakers. He was in possession of a semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect entered the store and approached the clerk. He removed the gun from his waist band as he demanded money from the till. The clerk complied and the suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Oregon State Police troopers and a Lane County Sheriff’s K9 deputy assisted with the search.The suspect was not located.
