[ARCHIVED] B&B Distributors Armed Robbery

At 8:30 this morning, 9-1-1 received a call regarding an armed robbery at B&B Distributors, 710 W. 6th Avenue. The suspect used a gun to rob the establishment of DVDs. Police are responded and witnesses provided good descriptions of the suspect.

The suspect had been described as a white male, age 35, 6-feet-tall, 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt, jeans, and black hat. He was reported to have fled northbound on Monroe. Police detained a suspect at 8:44 a.m. Paul Kay Shields, age 49, was arrested near 5th Avenue and Monroe Street. He's been charged with Robbery in the Second Degree and Possession of Meth.
