The success or failure of your resolution to get fit in the New Year may depend on how well the fitness class you choose “fits” you. Wish you could sample one or more fitness classes before paying for a months-long session? You can with Eugene Recreation.
During Fitness Week, Jan. 4-10, Eugene Recreation is offering 23 one-day, try-for-free exercise and movement classes. You’ll experience the real class, just the way it will be taught for the term, letting you determine if it’s a “fit” for you. When you find the exercise class that works best for you, you will be more likely to go to the class and achieve your fitness goal. And it’s free.
Try-for-free classes include Boot Camp, Total Body Workout; Strong Bones, Strong Body; Gentle Exercise; three variations of Zumba; four dance classes; four tai chi and six yoga classes, as well as classes in Nia and Qi Chong.
The classes are free, but pre-registration is required. To register, go to http://www.eugene-or.gov/recenroll and type in type, “free” in the advanced search box.
