Note on April 1, 2015 - We expect to be able to provide an update in this case by late afternoon after we gather the preliminary information, respecting the work and processes of the Interagency Deadly Use of Force Team. The update will be done as soon as we can.

Previously Released Details

At 5:06 p.m. March 30, a man who was the subject of a suicidal subject call in the Bethel area, was shot by a responding officer. The person is deceased. Next of kin have not yet been notified so no names or other identifying information can be provided at this time. No officers were injured during the incident.

Interagency Deadly Use of Force Investigation Team has been called in to provide an independent Investigation per IDFIT protocols.
