[ARCHIVED] Motorcycle/Car Crash at Coburg and Crescent

Motorcycle-Car Crash on Coburg/Crescent (Sunday)
Case Number 15-07926

On Sunday, May 10, at 3:17 p.m., a motorcyclist, Bryan Wayne Leroy, age 59, was going northbound on Coburg Road. A blue 2014 Toyota Prius driven by James Austin Fraley, age 86, was headed southbound and made a left hand turn in front of Leroy, who was on a silver 2008 Suzuki VZ8. The motorcyclist hit the passenger side of the car. A doctor and nurse happened upon the scene and helped until Eugene Springfield Fire EMS arrived.
Eugene Police’s Major Collision Investigation team was called out to investigate. The motorcyclist was not conscious, but was breathing, and was transported to a local hospital with a trauma activation.
No charges have been issued at this time as MCI is still investigating.
