City of Eugene Recreation Pools will kick off summer by holding benefit swims to raise money for Relief Nursery on Friday, June 19. Admittance is $2 a person and all proceeds will be donated to Relief Nursery. Pass-holders will not be charged the $2 entry fee though donations are encouraged.

“We are excited to partner with Relief Nursery,” said Rob Guthrie, senior recreation programmer for City of Eugene Aquatics. “Their support of children and families is phenomenal and we are proud to assist their mission in any way we can.”

Relief Nursery representatives will be present at Amazon Pool during its benefit swim hours. The City of Eugene hopes the partnership will help raise awareness around child abuse and neglect as well as highlight the Relief Nursery’s efforts to assist families in need.

• Echo Hollow Pool, 1655 Echo Hollow Road, 1:15-3:45 p.m.
