Learn how to be protected from scams and stay safe online! Come to a free talk on “Cyber Security” on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m., at the Bethel Branch of the Eugene Public Library, or on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m., at the Sheldon Branch. Expert Pam Simon of Fidgets2Widgets will share crucial information about passwords, privacy, and protection from cyber-crimes, including scams. No device is required, but participants are encouraged to bring a tablet, phone, or other mobile device.
