[ARCHIVED] Police Take Wanted Subject Into Custody on Filbert

At about 5:36 this morning, September 24, officers on patrol spotted a vehicle drive by that was associated with a possible wanted subject. Officers located the vehicle at a residence in the 800 block of Filbert. Officers surrounded the location and made every effort to find phone numbers for the occupants of the location but were unable to obtain any.

Officers used their Crisis Intervention Training skills to talk the subjects out of the residence, using a hailer. Four people came out cooperatively, including Christopher Blaine Boots, age 52, of Eugene, who had a warrant. He was taken into custody on the warrant.
