With the school year back in full swing, "Family Fun" returns to the Downtown Eugene Public Library. Every Sunday at 2:30 p.m., children and family are invited to try a new fun and educational activity, ranging from science and nature, to visual and performing arts, to games and multicultural experiences. Admission is free.
For the first two Sundays in October, come celebrate Latino Heritage Month at bilingual events. On October 4, play “Mexican Games and Music” with Jessica and Armando Zapata. On October 11, enjoy “Marimba del Rio - Un Viaje Musical,” a show by students from River Road / El Camino del Rio elementary school.
On October 18, jump into “Bhangra Dance,” high-energy Indian dancing with Sat Pavan Kaur Khalsa. On October 25, “Make Recycled Paper” with BRING.
