Today, December 24, from noon until about 2:30 p.m., St. Vincent de Paul’s Eugene Service Station, at 450 Hwy 99N, will be serving Christmas dinner to approximately 200 people who are homeless. Today's dinner is sponsored by Food for Lane County, and joining them to donate this is Bruns Apple Market, whose management is providing a large amount of food, and Eugene Police officers.
Eugene Police Department officers will be there serving food and showing their support for our great local service organizations, businesses and local homeless.
The Eugene Service Station serves as a place where local homeless people can receive mail, get access to social services, take a hot shower, do laundry, and get a hot meal.
