Eugene Parks and Open Space is proposing amending the park rules in order to prohibit smoking in all park and open space areas and facilities with the exception of the park blocks; prohibit the use of unmanned aircraft in City parks without permission; and prohibit the use of bikes on the soft path trails of Pre's Trail, Adidas Trail and Rexius Trail. The park blocks were not included in this rule change because they are included in a larger discussion around smoking downtown. Parks welcomes public comments about these proposed changes. They can be submitted in writing via email to pos@ci.eugene.or.us or by mail to Eugene Public Works Department, Administration Division, 101 East Broadway, Suite 400, no later than March 3.
