Safety Town also offers a unique volunteer opportunity for area teens, 13-19 years of age. The Teen volunteers are used as the camp "counselors". Not only do they have the opportunity to help the pre-Kinder campers learn these important safety lessons, but they get to learn leadership, team-building and job skills. Teens will be required to pass an interview and background check. Teen volunteer applications will also be available on our Police Events and Camps webpage beginning March 14, and are due by May 1st.

Safety Town is not possible without generous donations/sponsorships by area businesses and residents. There are a variety of ways you can help make this great program happen. Please contact Debbie Janecek, 541-682-2746 or debbie.k.janecek@ci.eugene.or.us for more information.
