The entrance to Alton Baker Park has reopened. The restroom and area nearby continues to be closed while the investigation continues.

The man has subsequently died at a local hospital. The Violent Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate. If anyone has relevant tips or information in the case, they are asked to contact Detective Jed McGuire at 541.682.6308.

The entrance to Alton Baker is closed after an adult male was found on the ground injured at approximately 6:03 a.m. He was taken to a local hospital on a full trauma activation. Police are investigating. Thank you for your patience while the entrance is closed.
