At 7:45 a.m. today, October 26, police received a call advising of a suspicious device observed near the Lane County Courthouse, 125 E. 8th Avenue. Please avoid the area of E. 8th and Pearl Avenue.

Metro Explosives Disposal Unit is responding to the scene to investigate.
